Electric motors

We supply industrial electric motors in three ranges: STM Polska, Siemens and AC-Motoren. All three cover efficiency classes IE2 to IE5, so the choice usually comes down to the build, the mounting and what the machine has to do rather than the efficiency label. A motor turns electrical energy into rotation, and specifying one is the job of matching that rotation to a real load.

Sizing starts with the power, the torque, the supply voltage, the type of load and the environment the motor works in. The parameters that decide the final model are the rated power, the voltage, the speed in rpm, the IP protection degree, the insulation class, the efficiency and the cooling method. We go through them with you at no charge, and that includes saying when a simpler build will do the job.

Electric motors are durable, energy efficient and used almost everywhere: industry, agriculture, automation and HVAC. Running costs are low and they are simple to operate. Standard and non-standard versions are both available, and every motor comes with its technical documentation and the certification that model carries. Tell us the duty and the mounting and we will come back with a specification, with availability confirmed on the quote, normally within one working day.

Questions we get asked

How do I choose the right electric motor?

It comes down to the power, the torque, the supply voltage, the working environment and the type of load. A pump that runs all day and a machine that starts twenty times an hour need different motors even at the same power. Tell us what the motor drives and how it is used, and we will match a model to the application rather than to a nameplate.

Will you help me pick the motor?

Yes, and there is no charge for it. We size against the technical requirement, so the motor suits the equipment and does not waste energy sitting at half load. What we need from you is the machine, the duty, the supply and the mounting arrangement. Send those with your enquiry and the quote comes back with a full specification against them.

Which technical parameters matter most?

The rated power, the voltage, the speed in rpm, the IP protection degree, the insulation class, the efficiency and the cooling method. Those seven decide the model between them. We help you work through the data if some of it is missing from the old motor plate, which happens more often than people expect.

What are the advantages of an electric motor?

They are durable, energy efficient and versatile, with low running costs and straightforward operation. The range of uses runs from heavy industry through agriculture to automation and HVAC. Efficiency classes from IE2 to IE5 mean you can weigh the energy the motor uses against what the installation actually needs.

Do the motors come with documentation?

Yes. Every motor is supplied with its technical documentation and the certification that model carries, so your compliance file is complete from the day it is installed. If you need the paperwork before ordering, for a specification or a tender, ask with the enquiry and we will send what is available for the model.
